"The Vietnam Agricultural Products Week 2025 program is implemented with the aim of promoting and introducing typical agricultural products and regional specialties that meet quality standards to domestic and international consumers. Thereby, contributing to improving the value and competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products in the market, connecting supply and demand, creating more favorable conditions for cooperatives and enterprises to have the opportunity to access modern distribution systems and export enterprises, promoting the consumption of agricultural products effectively and sustainably" - the Deputy Minister emphasized.

According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long, the program supports localities and businesses in brand building and expanding the market for agricultural product consumption. At the same time, it improves the identification of Vietnamese agricultural products associated with quality, food safety and traceability.
At the event, the Domestic Market Management and Development Department said that Vietnam Agricultural Products Week 2025 is an opportunity for localities to introduce and promote typical agricultural products, contributing to connecting supply and demand, promoting consumption of Vietnamese goods and affirming the brand of Vietnamese agricultural products in the market. Here, hundreds of unique agricultural products are introduced, creating a diverse and attractive exhibition space, attracting a large number of people and tourists. The exhibition area is arranged in 5 areas according to geographical areas.
34 localities, each province and city introduce a typical, typical agricultural product, reflecting the richness of the supply of Vietnamese agricultural products. Many products have affirmed their brands on the market such as Thai Nguyen tea, Hoa Binh oranges, Buon Ma Thuot coffee, Central Highlands honey, ST25 rice, and many other typical products of other regions. The exhibition space contributes to promoting the image of Vietnamese agricultural products and promoting connectivity between supply and demand.
The highlight of the program is the launching ceremony of "agricultural Products Map", an initiative developed by the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development. According to the plan, in the first phase, the Vietnam Agricultural Products Map will introduce a number of typical agricultural products of each province and city, representing the advantages, identity and typical economic values of the locality.
The product list is proposed by localities, based on ensuring the criteria of quality, reputation and regional representation. This approach helps reflect the diverse and rich picture of Vietnamese agricultural products, while creating a foundation for expanding and perfecting the database in the following stages.
This initial selection is not only to introduce typical products, bearing the characteristics of each locality, but also to create a foundation for the process of completing and expanding national agricultural product data in the coming time.
Thereby, aiming to build a unified, updated and transparent database of Vietnamese agricultural products to connect farmers, businesses with consumers, effectively serving the management, trade promotion and promotion of the image of Vietnamese agricultural products in both domestic and international markets.

The special highlight of the program is the support and connection of the Domestic Market Management and Development Department to Duong Yen Cooperative - one of the large-scale fish farming facilities in Lai Chau province to introduce and successfully consume 50 kg sturgeon, which is considered a "record" in local fish farms. This success not only created a strong impression at the event but also affirmed the quality and brand of Vietnamese agricultural and aquatic products in the market.
