On the afternoon of December 1, at the Congress of Dong Nai Logistics Association, term I (2025-2028), Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of the Immigration Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade - said that Dong Nai has an advantage when establishing Dong Nai Logistics Association thanks to its location as a gateway connecting the region with the Central region and the Central Highlands; Having a convenient infrastructure system, especially Long Thanh airport is an important highlight urged by the Government and expected to be put into operation in 2026.

Mr. Tran Thanh Hai also recommended that Dong Nai province promote infrastructure completion, taking advantage of Long Thanh airport to create an aviation logistics ecosystem.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Long - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province - said that the province will accompany and support the association and logistics enterprises to develop, making Dong Nai a key logistics center of the country...

After the merger, Dong Nai province has a population of over 4.4 million people, an area of over 12,737 km2, and the 4th largest economy in the country.
Dong Nai has an important position, as the center of the Southern key economic region, as an inter-regional gateway, the largest industrial "capital" in the country. With this location, the new Dong Nai will become an important economic corridor, with a diverse and multi-modal transport network ( airline, road, rail, waterway) with Long Thanh International Airport being the gateway to Vietnam's international airports; Phuoc An Port is the center of the country's major seaports.
The new Dong Nai will become a major center for the production of goods, services, and logistics in the country.
