Minimum speed 1 Gbps, attractive fares

With the message Super speed for all experiences - Viettel GIGA package brings a minimum speed of 1Gbps. Applying XGSPON transmission technology, Viettel GIGA ensures smooth connection even when many devices are operating at the same time - perfectly meeting the needs of stable livestreaming, smooth gaming and cloud gaming, entertainment, watching movies on multiple devices at the same time, downloading and Backup data at high speed, operating security cameras and a seamless smart home ecosystem.

In addition, with a price starting from only 320,000 VND/month, Viettel aims to popularize super-fast internet to every Vietnamese household. We believe that with careful preparation in infrastructure and technology, Viettel will bring super-fast internet closer to every home and every business contributing to realizing the national target of 1Gbps by 2030, Mr. Hoang Trung Thanh, General Director of Viettel Telecom shared.

Enhancing experience standards group ready for a connected future

Not only launching GIGA, Viettel Telecom also supports replacing old WiFi devices with WiFi 6 - a new technology that helps increase speed, improve coverage and stability when many devices access at the same time. Viettel is also preparing to deploy WiFi 7 in 2026, ready for the era of unlimited connectivity.

Leading infrastructure - Paving the way for a digital society

Implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW on innovation and national digital transformation, Viettel has built an optical cable network of more than half a million km long, covering 100% of villages across the country, ready to provide high-bandwidth packages for all needs "from families, business households to businesses" in both urban and rural areas.

Viettel has also deployed the new generation of fiber optic cable technology XGSPON for a symmetrical speed of 10Gbps (fast upload and download), opening up a " date roadmap" for future applications such as IoT, smart cities, remote healthcare and digital education.

Currently, Viettel operates 05 international Seaborne optical cables, ensuring about 65% of Vietnam's international connection capacity. By 2030, Viettel aims to participate in at least 05 new cable lines; of which, the Vietnam - Singapore route completely owned by Viettel is expected to be put into operation in 2028.

Viettel's investment in international and domestic fiber optic cables is considered by Ookla - the unit behind Speedtest tools - as one of the reasons for increasing speed and fixed internet bandwidth in Vietnam. Specifically, for the first time, Vietnam's fixed internet speed ranked 10th globally in August 2025, reaching 261.8 Mbps. This result nearly caught up with Thailand (262.42 Mbps, ranked 9th) and higher than many countries such as Switzerland, Denmark, China. In which Viettel leads Vietnam with a speed of 272.9Mbps (higher than the 8th largest country in the world, Iceland).

With the GIGA package, Viettel continues to affirm its pioneering position in speed, quality and connecting infrastructure, bringing super-fast internet to all Vietnamese people "from urban to remote areas" so that everyone can study, work, be creative and enjoy digital life.
