On April 24, information from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province said that it had decided to sanction administrative violations in the environmental field against Ton Phuong Nam Company with its head office at Road No. 9, Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, An Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City. The reason for this company's administrative violation is that it does not have an environmental license as prescribed for the facility subject to an environmental license under the licensing authority of the Provincial People's Committee.
The main form of penalty is a fine of VND320 million, the additional form of penalty is to suspend the operation of the source of waste without an environmental license from the facility for a period of 4.5 months.
Measures to remedy the consequences, forcing Ton Phuong Nam Company to relocate the facility to a location in accordance with the planning, environmental zoning, and environmental load-bearing capacity approved by competent authorities.
The duration of implementing remedial measures is 150 days.
