5-star chefs and the pressure of million-dollar parties
Behind the sparkling crystal lights and lavish menus of million-dollar weddings in Da Nang is the huge pressure on the shoulders of chefs. They are quiet culinary artists, creating classy taste experiences, conquering even the most demanding guests. Head chef Doan Van Tuan, who leads the kitchen team at furama - Ariyana International Tourism Complex, is one of them. For him, each wedding party of the super-rich is not just a job, but a race for time and perfection.
"The biggest pressure is ensuring the same quality for hundreds of dishes, in an extremely limited period of time. Each dish is not only delicious, but also must reach sophistication in both flavor and form. Temperature, freshness, presentation, everything must be perfect and unified, whether it is a appetizer or a main dish," Mr. Doan Van Tuan shared.

According to Mr. Tuan, the challenge comes not only from the huge number of dishes, but also from special requirements, even surprises from customers. Diet, food allergies, vegetarian requirements, or separate menus for each customer group - all require the flexibility and quick handling of the chef. Mr. Tuan and his team must always be ready to adjust and change to meet all needs, no matter how small, while still ensuring the quality and artistry of each dish.
The combination of Vietnamese and international cuisines is also a factor that creates pressure. Mr. Tuan often has to coordinate with Indian chef - Mr. Seikh Mursalim (Salim) - to design diverse menus, meeting the tastes of customers from many different cultures. This requires a deep understanding of the cuisine of each country, as well as the ability to harmoniously combine ingredients and flavors.
From gorgeous and luxurious royal weddings to romantic and cozy beach weddings, each event brings its own challenges. But it is that pressure that motivates Mr. Tuan and his team to constantly create and strive for excellence. Because for them, each party is not just a job, but a work of art, created from passion, passion and even "sweet" pressures. And the final result is the satisfied smile of customers, the pride of being able to contribute to creating beautiful memories on the big day of couples.
