With more than 15 million people, the working class accounts for about 14.97% of the country's population, and is a pioneer force in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. From workers directly working in industrial sectors to those working in industrial parks, the working class has improved their skills, qualifications and sense of social responsibility. They make an important contribution to economic development, creating stability and sustainable development for society.
The farming sector, accounting for more than 49% of households in rural areas, with about 9.1 million households, is an important force in agricultural development and new rural construction. Today's farmers have caught up with the trend of large commodity production, applying science and technology and improving labor productivity. The contributions of farmers not only help stabilize food security but also improve the material and spiritual quality of life for the people, contributing to the comprehensive development of the country.
Meanwhile, the intellectual team is the quintessence of the country in research and innovation with about 11.7 million people, accounting for 11.6% of the population. The team of intellectuals plays an important role in research, creativity and development of science and technology. Intelligence not only contributes to innovation initiatives but is also a key force in disseminating knowledge, consulting, social criticism, and supporting international integration. They are the ones who play an important role in building a modern, developed country and deeply integrating with the world.
It is impossible not to mention the Vietnamese business community, with nearly 10 million people, which is a strong force in promoting economic development. Nearly 3 million of them are business leaders, playing a key role in the industries, services and trade. They are not only creators and developers of new products but also lead businesses to develop sustainably, associated with national strategies on industrialization, modernization and international integration.
Currently, with more than 20 million people, Vietnamese youth account for about 19.8% of the country's population, being a pioneering force in all aspects of social life. Today's youth not only participate in patriotic emulation movements but are also a proactive force in developing creativity, startups, defending the Fatherland and building a modern and dynamic society. This is the next generation, inheriting the tradition of patriotism and contributing to the revolutionary cause of the Party.
With more than 50 million people, accounting for more than 50% of the population, Vietnamese women have made great contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. They not only contribute to economic development, preserving and promoting family values but also participate in community management work and implementing gender equality goals. Women are one of the important forces in promoting changes and development in society.
The elderly force plays an important role in the family and community, contributing to social activities, educating patriotism and national pride for the younger generation. They are always exemplary, shining examples in charity activities and educating their children and grandchildren, encouraging each other to live happily, healthily and happily.
Vietnam has about 14.3 million ethnic minorities, accounting for 14.2% of the population. This is an important force in preserving national cultural identity and protecting national security, especially in border areas. Ethnic minorities, along with more than 27 million religious followers, actively contribute to the overall development of the country, always accompany the nation in charitable activities, protect the Fatherland and build a peaceful and prosperous society.
Nearly 6 million overseas Vietnamese are an indispensable part of the community with contributions to knowledge, finance and promoting the country's image, an important bridge in international relations.
From different groups of forces in society, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has built a strong national unity bloc, an important factor in the cause of building and defending the country. With the contribution of all classes of society, the country will continue to develop strongly, towards a prosperous, fair and happy future for all people.
The power of patriotic emulation movements
In recent years, Party committees at all levels in the entire Party Committee have focused on leading and closely directing the gathering, mobilizing and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc. Thanks to that, the spirit of patriotism, the will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country are strongly aroused and spread; the great national unity bloc continues to be firmly consolidated; the close relationship between the Party, the State and the People is increasingly strengthened; the People increasingly have deep trust in the leadership of the Party, agree and actively participate in implementing patriotic emulation movements, major campaigns, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; ensuring social security, improving the material and spiritual life of the People.
In particular, the program encourages people from all walks of life to compete and be creative, effectively implementing campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, typically: Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" (with more than 12,000 OCOP products recognized), "For the poor - No one is left behind" (each year mobilizing thousands of billions of VND), "Creative solidarity" (yearly announcing the Vietnam Creative Golden Book, introducing 70 - 100 outstanding works).

Linking patriotic emulation with Strategic Resolutions
In the strategic Resolutions of the Politburo issued from December 2024 to present, there are 4 Resolutions considered as "The Four pillars" including: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development...
There are 3 fundamental Resolutions: Resolution No. 70- NQ/TW on ensuring national energy security until 2030, with a vision to 2045; Resolution No. 71- NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development; Resolution No. 72 - NQ/TW on a number of breakthrough solutions, strengthening protection and health care for people.
In his speech at the National Conference on disseminating and implementing the 4 Resolutions organized by the Politburo and the Secretariat on September 16, General Secretary To Lam said: "These 3 resolutions continue and strongly supplement the strategic "Three Resolution Ministries", creating a unified body, a breakthrough to realize the two 100-year goals, building a strong, prosperous, lasting and sustainable Vietnam".
Notably, Resolutions 71 and 72 are 2 Resolutions aimed at the basic issues of the people. These include specific targets such as by 2030, the education index contributing to the Human Development Index (HDI) will reach over 0.8; the educational inequality index will decrease to below 10%. By 2045, Vietnam will have a modern, fair and quality national education system, among the top 20 countries in the world.
In Resolution 72, the goal from 2026 is that people will have regular health check-ups or free screening examinations at least once a year; by 2030, people will be exempted from hospital fees at a basic level within the scope of health insurance benefits according to the roadmap; the average life expectancy will reach 75.5 years, of which the minimum number of years of healthy living will reach 68 years. By 2045, people will have an average life expectancy of over 80 years, of which the number of years of healthy living will increase to over 71 years; the average stature, physical strength, and height of young people are equivalent to countries with the same level of development.
In most Resolutions, the implementation organization part often has several very important lines: Party Committee, Fatherland Front, Central organizations, direct the development of programs and plans to guide and mobilize the People to implement the Resolution, promote the role of supervision, social criticism, participate in law-making, mechanisms, policies, etc.
Each Party's resolution reflects major and important goals in national development, from improving people's lives, improving the quality of education and health, to environmental protection and sustainable development. These goals cannot be achieved without the participation and consensus of the people. In particular, people are not only the beneficiaries of policies, but also the subjects that proactively participate in the implementation process.
One of the important factors that makes people the driving force for the success of resolutions is the spirit of self-awareness and creativity in work.
People not only simply implement the Party's instructions but also create ways suitable to the characteristics of each region, bringing the highest efficiency.
In addition to directly participating in the implementation of the resolution, people also play an important role in the work of supervising and criticizing the Party's policies and Resolutions. In reality, when people participate in supervision activities, they can detect shortcomings and inadequacies in the implementation process, thereby contributing to the completion of resolutions and policies.
In addition, people's supervision also helps authorities detect violations during the implementation process, thereby taking timely corrective measures to ensure the effectiveness and fairness of policies.
The implementation of the Party's Resolutions requires consensus and solidarity of the whole society.
