On November 9, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, the Congress of Delegates of the Trade Union of Hong Hai Science and Technology Group (Hong Hai Science and Technology Group) term V, term 2025 - 2030 was successfully held.
The Congress was attended by 100 outstanding delegates, representing more than 15,000 workers and union members in the Group. Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc - Vice President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Bac Ninh Industrial Park Trade Union, leaders and experts of the Industrial Park Trade Union attended.
The congress was attended by: Mr. Chau Nghia Van - Deputy General Director of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Tran Khac Cuong - Deputy General Director of Human Resources of Fii-CNSBG and representatives of the leaders of the units in the Group.
Reporting at the congress, in the 2022-2027 term, the Hong Hai Science and Technology Group Trade Union has comprehensively completed the set goals and tasks, truly becoming a reliable support, a common home for tens of thousands of workers.
Union member development work with a union membership rate of 99.6%, with a total of 15,527 union members. The Trade Union has proactively negotiated, signed and amended the Collective Labor Agreement with 12 contents that are more beneficial than legal regulations; organized 36 dialogues, promptly resolving 89 recommendations of union members.
The union has negotiated to increase the value of shift meals to VND1,170,000/person/month; visited and presented gifts to more than 3,000 union members in difficult circumstances, with a total value of over VND2 billion. The "Union member welfare" program brings practical benefits, helping union members save costs of about 3.5 billion VND; recognizing over 300 initiatives and technical improvements that have brought high efficiency in the "Good workers, creative workers" movement.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc - Vice President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged and praised the results that the Hong Hai Science and Technology Group Trade Union has achieved.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc emphasized the importance of this congress, as the first congress after the merger of the two provinces, marking a new development phase, unifying the organization.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc suggested that the Group's Trade Union in the 2025-2030 term should continue to promote its core role, focusing on key tasks: Representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, focusing on issues of welfare, housing, social security, especially attention to female workers and workers far from home. Build a team of brave, intellectual, and professional union officials who are truly representatives, friends, and companions of workers.
Along with that, innovate and strongly launch emulation movements "Good workers, Creative workers", build a corporate culture.
The Congress discussed and unanimously approved the Resolution with the goal of "guaranteed rights, better welfare". The main targets for the 2025-2030 term include: Striving to develop union members to 100% of qualified workers; 100% of units organizing workers' conferences and dialogues at the workplace; 80% of female workers achieving the title of "Good at public work - Good at home work"; introducing at least 5 outstanding union members to the Party for admission consideration.
The Congress announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Hong Hai Science and Technology Group, term V, 2025-2030 with 11 members. Accordingly, Ms. Pham Thi Minh Nguyet - Deputy Director of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is the Chairwoman of the Group's Trade Union.
