This is an important political event, marking a new step in the development of the workers' movement and trade union organizations in Kinh Bac ward after the merger and consolidation.
Attending and directing the congress were comrade Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.
Also attending were leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and 100 outstanding delegates, representing the will and aspirations of nearly 4,182 union members, workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVCLD) in the ward.
The 1st Kinh Bac Ward Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, was held with the theme throughout the year: "Innovating content, improving the effectiveness of representation, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers; building a team of workers, civil servants, and laborers in Kinh Bac Ward with knowledge, skills, and industrial style, contributing to the Party Committee and People of the ward to successfully achieve the goal of building Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city before 2030."
The Political Report at the Congress affirmed that although the Kinh Bac Ward Trade Union was newly established and put into operation in the context of the new administrative apparatus arrangement, it quickly improved its organization, closely following the direction of the Provincial Labor Federation and the Ward Party Committee. The Trade Union has focused on implementing solutions to represent and protect the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers.
The Congress also frankly acknowledged the shortcomings and limitations, and at the same time set out directions, tasks, goals and breakthrough solutions in the new term. The focus is on improving the quality of negotiation, signing and monitoring the implementation of collective labor agreements and dialogues at the workplace; at the same time, promoting patriotic emulation movements and creative labor to improve productivity and product quality.
Speaking at the congress, Comrade Thach Van Chung expressed his joy and appreciated the sense of responsibility and efforts of the Kinh Bac Ward Trade Union Executive Committee in quickly stabilizing the organization and implementation of activities. He affirmed: "This is an important political event, marking a new step in the development of the workers' movement and trade union organization of Bac Ninh province after the merger and consolidation."
Comrade Thach Van Chung especially emphasized and suggested a number of additional contents for Kinh Bac Ward Trade Union to focus on implementing in the 2025-2030 term: The Trade Union must always identify the key task of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; must be flexible and creative in organizing social security activities and welfare for union members.
Along with that, focus on doing a good job of propaganda and education, contributing to improving political, cultural, legal, professional, and especially industrial style, high labor discipline for union members and workers.
Regularly organize patriotic emulation movements, the movement "Creative labor, promoting initiatives, technical improvement" to create strong motivation, contributing to the successful completion of production and business tasks of units and enterprises in the area.
He expressed his confidence that the Executive Committee of the Kinh Bac Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030, will inherit and promote cultural traditions, be flexible and creative in implementing tasks, actively contribute to the Party Committee and people of the ward to build Kinh Bac Ward to develop more and more, strong in economy, rich in cultural identity, elegant and hospitable.
The Congress voted to pass the Resolution with high consensus. The Resolution sets out specific targets, directions and solutions for the 2025-2030 term. With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress called on all union members and employees of Kinh Bac Ward to promote their achievements, overcome difficulties, and be determined to organize and effectively implement the targets and tasks set by the Congress Resolution, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the First Provincial Trade Union Congress and the Resolution of the Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
