Attending and directing the congress were Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front (VFF), Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Kim Iee Soo - General Director of SEV/T Company; Mr. Kim Byeong Sam - Director of the personnel administration sector; leaders of the Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union; leaders of SEV/T Company and 100 delegates representing more than 14,000 union members and workers of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEV).
During the past term, the SEV Trade Union Executive Board has successfully completed its tasks, demonstrating its role as an effective bridge between employees and the company's Board of Directors. SEV Trade Union has focused on taking care of the mental health of workers, a key factor to maintain productivity and cohesion; organizing psychological counseling activities, relieving stress, attracting about 9,000 employees/year...
During the past term, SEV Trade Union was honored to receive the Comprehensive "Emulation Flag" from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to the Trade Union Executive Committee at the 2024 Executive Committee Conference. SEV Company was honored as a typical Enterprise for Workers in 2024 and 2025 thanks to its modern working environment, competitive salary - bonus policies and full insurance.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and praised the achievements of the SEV Trade Union Executive Committee in the last term.
Mr. Thach Van Chung suggested that the new SEV Trade Union Executive Board focus on three strategic pillars for continued development: Improving the effectiveness of collective bargaining and legal representation. Accordingly, proactively negotiate to achieve high-quality collective labor agreements, aiming for outstanding benefits such as increasing health insurance, housing/individual financial programs, and establishing a periodic and professional dialogue mechanism.
In addition, the Trade Union is the center of innovation and skills improvement: Coordinate the development of the "Samsung lifelong learning" program to train digital skills, adaptation skills to automation, and at the same time establish a reward mechanism for the Trade Union to become an "Idea garden".
Along with that, building a modern, autonomous and attractive Trade Union organization: Applying technology to digitize management and information processes, ensuring the welfare of 14,000 union members quickly and accurately; focusing on training a team of full-time trade union officials with understanding of the law, economy and soft skills.

On behalf of the new SEV Trade Union Executive Committee, Mr. Lai Hoang Dung - Chairman of SEV Trade Union committed that in the new term, the Trade Union Executive Committee will focus on building internal regulations, consolidating organization, promoting trade union activities and actively participating in emulation movements to complete the unit's annual targets and plans.
