The summary report on Trade Union activities for the 2023-2025 term affirmed outstanding achievements in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. 100% of workers are union members (26,311 people) participate in social insurance.
The trade union has proactively negotiated and signed collective labor agreements with many provisions that are more beneficial than the law, such as: increasing private leave (willingness, leave) and supporting 50% of salary and insurance for female production staff registering for maternity leave. In particular, the SDV Trade Union organized 159 meetings to dialogue and have direct contact with 13,695 employees, recording 2,749 opinions to improve infrastructure, welfare regimes and working environment...
In the 2025-2030 term,SDV Trade Union aims to achieve the title of grassroots Trade Union for the task of completing well. To achieve this goal, the Congress agreed on the following solutions: Maintain a periodic dialogue between the SDV Trade Union and the company's Board of Directors twice a year. Promote the "Good workers - Creative workers" movement through coordinating the issuance of regulations to encourage initiatives and establish "Initiative Clubs" or "Innovation Clubs" in workshops and departments. Increase training courses to improve knowledge and skills for workers on Labor Law, Traffic Safety, reproductive health care programs, and psychology.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements of the SDV Trade Union in the recent term.
Mr. Thach Van Chung suggested that the SDV Trade Union focus on key tasks: better representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, focusing on collective bargaining, periodic dialogue and supervision of the implementation of labor laws.
Along with that, continue to organize emulation movements well, mobilizing workers to actively participate in production labor, determined to build the brand of the Trade Union of SamSung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd. to "light up innovation" from "golden initiative" to "diamond productivity".
At the congress, Mr. Hoang Van Tinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Industrial Park Trade Union announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd., term III, 2025-2030, consisting of 19 comrades. Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Senior Head of the Production Department holds the position of chairman.
