On September 24, the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor held a ceremony to put up a plaque for the project "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe" in Van Khanh Dong commune, An Minh district. This is a competition project to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and to welcome the An Minh District Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The project “Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe” was implemented in nearly 6 months, shortening the time to 4 months as planned. The project has a total length of 14.5km. The total construction cost is 376 million VND.
Chairwoman of the An Minh District Labor Federation Ton Thi Kim Vui said: The district Labor Federation has coordinated with the local government to mobilize from the district-level departments, branches, unions, contributions from benefactors, union members, workers and socialized sources. Especially, the participation of 350 union members, local people took turns to help install lights, plant more than 5,000 peony bushes and 100 royal poinciana trees, and mobilize people to clean up the environment...
"The completion of this project is not only a simple construction project, but also has great significance in terms of local economy, politics and society, creating a new development for the homeland, contributing to building the criteria for the district to achieve new rural status by 2024," Ms. Vui emphasized.
At the ceremony, Ms. Trang Thi Bich Ngoc, Vice President of the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged and highly appreciated the attention and support of Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, unions, benefactors, construction units, the efforts of the An Minh District Trade Union Executive Committee and all cadres, employees and workers who contributed their efforts and intelligence to complete this project.
Hopefully, in the coming time, the An Minh District Labor Federation will promote the achievements that have been made, the union members and each local resident will continue to join hands to preserve and protect the achievements that have been made, and put the project into effective and long-term use.
