On January 6, Mr. Ho Dinh Dung - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Bao Loc Urban Works Joint Stock Company (Lam Dong province) said that the unit currently has 174 employees and 100% are trade union members.
According to Mr. Dung, the Trade Union Executive Committee closely coordinates with the Company's Board of Directors in recruitment work, in order to ensure the rights of employees right from the time they start working.
Thanks to that, all workers are signed labor contracts. In which, most are unspecified contracts, with salaries from 5-29 million VND/month, contributing to ensuring jobs and stable income.
The Trade Union is also more convenient in supervising the implementation of policies and laws, thereby better protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers," Mr. Dung said.
The grassroots trade union also proactively proposes and negotiates with the Board of Directors to sign collective labor agreements with many clauses beneficial to workers. In addition to annual periodic health check-ups, workers are also supported with occupational disease examinations, gynecological examinations, cancer screening...
In parallel with that, the unit regularly organizes cultural and artistic activities, sports, and gives gifts to union members and workers on holidays, Tet, and birthdays.
At the same time, commending and giving gifts to children of union members on International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival... Difficult cases, illnesses, and accidents are all visited and supported promptly.
In the period 2023-2025, the trade union organized many exchange activities with friendly units; and twice organized for union members and workers to visit, travel, and picnic.
We hope these activities create a joyful atmosphere, improve material and spiritual life, and at the same time strengthen the connection between union members and workers with trade union organizations and businesses," Mr. Dung shared.
