On the morning of November 21, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation organized an announcement of the decision to establish a new commune and ward trade union at the Hall of the Provincial Labor Federation Agency (Lam Vien Ward, Da Lat).
At the event, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the establishment of 15 new commune and ward unions, bringing the total number of unions in the area to 26 units. Previously, the unit established 10 commune and ward trade unions and the Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union.
In the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor plans to survey and establish 5 more trade unions, bringing the total number of commune, ward and special zone trade unions to 31 units, covering 124 commune-level administrative units.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that the establishment of commune, ward and special zone trade unions is necessary, in line with the practical situation and model of local government at two levels.
This is also a step to implement the motto "rich activities towards the grassroots", not leaving vacant areas, while ensuring streamlining the apparatus and improving the effectiveness of trade union activities.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Provisional President of 15 new trade unions.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My Chi - Chairwoman of Lam Vien Ward Trade Union - shared her joy and emotion when taking on the new assignment and pledged to strive to organize union activities well, becoming a solid bridge between the provincial trade union and local union members and workers.
