Attending the program were Mr. Vo Manh Son - Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tho - Director of the Institute of Labor Safety and Hygiene, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, along with representatives of Thieu Hoa district leaders, the district Federation of Labor, businesses and many workers in the area.
According to the Thieu Hoa District Labor Federation, in 2024, the impact of the global economic crisis, conflicts between countries in the world, natural disasters and floods, and high prices of input goods have greatly affected the production and business activities of enterprises. This also makes the lives and jobs of union members difficult. However, the units, enterprises, and unions at all levels in the area have made great efforts to achieve positive results.
With the motto "No one is left behind" and "All union members and workers have Tet", the Thieu Hoa district trade union at all levels actively mobilized and called for support from the Party Committee, government, higher-level trade unions, organizations, businesses and benefactors to receive hundreds of gifts to give to union members in difficult circumstances.
At the program, representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Thanh Hoa Provincial Confederation of Labor, Thieu Hoa District, District Confederation of Labor and enterprises presented more than 700 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of nearly 600 million VND.
