On January 5, the Hue City Labor Federation (LDLD) said that in the period 2023-2025, women's work at all levels of the city's Trade Union continues to be effectively implemented, focusing on propaganda, education, and mobilization of female union members and workers to implement the Party's guidelines, state policies and laws and regulations of the Trade Union organization, especially regimes related to female workers and children.
The rights of female workers are concerned through activities to care for employment, life, improve working conditions, raise salaries, raise grades, maternity benefits and support raising young children.
The female worker and employee movement has been innovated with many rich activities, linking the movement "Good at state affairs - Good at housework" with the campaign "Women actively study, creatively work, and build happy families".
Many practical care models continue to be maintained such as "Milk squeezing and storing rooms", "Chatting with the Executive Board", "Reproductive Health and Labor Law Club", and the program "Being a parent for the comprehensive development of children".
Along with that, the work of consolidating and improving the quality of the Women's Union's activities is focused on; to date, 30 mass women's unions have been established, promoting the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of female union members and workers.
Coordination activities between the Trade Union and the City Women's Union are effectively implemented through programs such as "Ao Dai Week", "Giving Ao Dai, Sending Love", the "Parental Mother" program, the campaign "Building a 5-no, 3-clean Family", associated with training the qualities of "Confidence - Self-respect - Loyalty - Competence" of Vietnamese women.
