Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of the Trade Union of Dai Dung Company, said that the Trade Union has consulted female workers, with proposals such as in addition to 5 breastfeeding breaks according to the law, pregnant female workers are entitled to 2 extra breaks, each time 1 day, receiving full salary to go to the health station; pregnant female workers are entitled to a lunch break 10 minutes before; female workers with children under 12 months old are entitled to 2 Saturdays off every month; the company arranges rooms and equipment for standard breastfeeding, female workers with children under 12 months old are entitled to an additional 60 minutes off per day to express milk, in addition to the legal leave period, the company supports female workers with a cleaning fee of VND 100,000/person/month.
Through the dialogue, the company's board of directors agreed on 5/5 contents. Regarding the content of support for cleaning fees, the enterprise approved the support level of 50,000 VND/person/month (compared to the proposed 100,000 VND). Mr. Hung added that it is estimated that the company spends an additional 1.5 billion VND each year to implement the dialogue results.
