The Ministry of Finance supports 3.5 billion VND to overcome the consequences of floods

Deputy Minister of Finance Cao Anh Tuan directly presented 3.5 billion VND to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to overcome the consequences of floods.

On December 1, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), Mr. Ngo Van Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations - received 3.5 billion VND from the collective of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of units under and directly under the Ministry of Finance to support people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces to overcome the consequences of floods.

Presenting the donation to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Minister of Finance Cao Anh Tuan shared that this is a donation amount raised right after the launching ceremony for all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Finance sector to donate to support people affected by floods in the Central and Central Highlands provinces, taking place on November 26, 2025.

Deputy Minister Cao Anh Tuan hopes that the above contribution of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Ministry of Finance can partly share the losses and damages of people in flooded areas, helping people to soon overcome difficulties and quickly stabilize their lives.

Deputy Minister Cao Anh Tuan said that with its role and responsibility in mobilizing and allocating resources to support the Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by natural disasters, the Ministry of Finance has actively advised and coordinated with ministries and branches to mobilize resources (Central, Vietnam Fatherland Front, regulating the central budget of a number of provinces and cities), while making efforts to allocate resources fairly and effectively, focusing on areas with heavy damage.

The Ministry of Finance is committed to continuing to strive to coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to mobilize and allocate resources most effectively; at the same time, it will continue to monitor, summarize the situation and report to the Prime Minister to be able to promptly adjust and provide appropriate support.

Receiving the donation, Deputy Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations Ngo Van Cuong respectfully thanked the cooperation and contribution of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of units under and directly under the Ministry of Finance in supporting people in the Central and Central Highlands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters; at the same time, affirmed that all donations and support from the units will be monitored and used purposefully and effectively, helping people in affected localities to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Also on December 1, the leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front received support from the University of Commerce in the amount of 100 million VND; Mai Viet Real Estate Joint Stock Company in the amount of 300 million VND.
