According to Comrade Nguyen Binh Minh, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, digital transformation is currently a major policy and an inevitable trend. This process does not stop at the application of information technology but is a comprehensive reform, fundamentally changing from awareness, thinking to methods of operation to build an effective, efficient and efficient organizational apparatus.
Looking back at the past, the digital transformation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations has achieved some remarkable initial results, creating an important premise for the new period. The spirit of Resolution 57 has been fully concretized through the system of documents of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Executive Committee.
In parallel with institutional improvement, the construction of digital platforms to serve direction and operation in all aspects of work has been focused on. In particular, on August 15, 2025, for the first time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched the "Digital Front" platform, an application platform that integrates many core software to promptly record and process feedback from people on the internet; synthesize and build a database on the organization, a database on the work of cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations at all levels; provide useful information to Vietnam Fatherland Front cadres and people...
Along with that, applications and information channels to propagate to the people have been deployed on many platforms: Electronic information portal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; website "For the Poor"; Zalo interactive channel "Vietnam Fatherland Front" ... have become important information channels, bringing the image and activities of the Front closer to all classes of people.
In general, according to comrade Nguyen Binh Minh, the Front's digital transformation picture has appeared bright colors, demonstrating the efforts and determination to innovate to contribute to the active participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the national digital transformation process. However, those are just the beginning. Along with the results, we need to frankly acknowledge the limitations and shortcomings of infrastructure, data platforms, digital platform systems and digital capabilities of a part of the Front's staff.
Comrade Nguyen Binh Minh said that to realize the digital transformation goal set out, the Party Committee of the Agency's Office proposed 5 key groups of solutions in the coming time on digital institutions, digital data, digital applications, digital human resources and digital safety, in which digital institutions must take the lead.
To do this, the Agency's Office proposes that the Agency's Party Committee continue to resolutely lead and direct the completion of the institutional framework for digital transformation. The immediate focus is to submit to competent authorities for promulgation the Project of Digital Transformation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2035, which will be the foundation for establishing a vision, goals, roadmap and comprehensive solutions.
At the same time, it is necessary to promote the effectiveness of the Digital Transformation Steering Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee in directing and coordinating digital transformation work throughout the system, in member organizations and from the central to local levels. Next, it is necessary to urgently develop and submit the "Digital battlefield" Architecture - a set of technical standards as a mandatory basis for all investment activities, application development, ensuring compatibleity and smoothness throughout the system.
Along with that, it is necessary to focus on building and implementing the Data Strategy of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Data of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations needs to be centrally managed and exploited intelligently. Data must meet the requirements of " true - Complete - Clean - Live - United - Use together". It is necessary to invest soon to have a Data Center that meets the requirements of management, integration, and data sharing in the Front system and mass organizations with the entire political system.
According to comrade Nguyen Binh Minh, digital applications must be close to the people, close to the people and an indispensable companion tool for every Fatherland Front cadre. Therefore, it is necessary to soon build digital applications, closely following the functions and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in which the core principle is to take the people as the center. In the immediate future, focus resources to develop the "Digital Front" as a single, multi-platform tool, integrating many useful functions. This platform fully integrates the necessary tasks: from operational management (replacing the current Eoffice); performing daily work: managing union members, association members; supervision - social criticism;... to synthesizing opinions and recommendations from the people and reflecting to relevant agencies; providing and supporting useful information to the people...
With the motto "each Front cadre is the subject, the goal, the driving force of digital transformation", the Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to prioritize all resources, adding personnel to advise on digital transformation work. At the same time, research and propose specific treatment mechanisms to attract and retain good experts in technology, data, etc.
