- First of all, it shows the good tradition of mutual love and support in times of trouble of our people, while also affirming the role, responsibility and reliability of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in society. For the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Da Nang City today, the above figures of receiving money and goods show that in the past time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province and Da Nang city (old) to demonstrate their role and prestige in general activities and participation in disaster relief, ensuring social security in particular, creating strong social trust. This belief is the core value for organizations and individuals to express their sharing to the people in disaster areas, thereby connecting resources, both materially and spiritually, becoming the combined strength of the great national unity bloc to overcome any difficult circumstances.
Faced with serious damage caused by the particularly heavy flood after storm No. 12 (Fengshen), in the context of flooded, landslide, isolation, and isolation of many residential areas across the city, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City coordinated with the Military Command and the City Red Cross Society to organize a centralized reception point for relief goods such as: Food, essential foods, drinking water, medicine, life jackets, blankets, etc. at a warehouse of the City Military Command. The results of receiving and distributing goods and relief money are all updated and made public and transparent on the website of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, on the city's mass media and reported to competent authorities, thereby creating trust among the people, spreading a strong spirit of solidarity in society.
We are also urgently completing the Social Security Digital Map of Da Nang City, first of all to serve natural disaster relief work, after completion, it will be publicly announced to make it most convenient for organizations and individuals to find addresses in need.
Sir, in reality, not only the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, but also member organizations such as the City Youth Union and the City Labor Federation are participating in supporting people affected by storms and floods. During the recent flood, socio-political organizations under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City responded quickly, promptly, actively and effectively in encouraging and supporting people facing difficulties and damage caused by storms and floods.
Typically, the Farmers' and Veterans' Association and the City Youth Union have urgently launched support for localities to clean up roads and fallen trees, clean the environment, and restore production; the Women's Union visited and encouraged disadvantaged families; the City Youth Union and the Da Nang City Labor Federation have coordinated to visit and give gifts to union members and workers who suffered losses. In particular, the City Labor Federation has spent more than 18 billion VND from the Trade Union's financial resources to promptly provide support to union members and workers affected by natural disasters. And not only providing support to union members and workers, the City Trade Union also visited and presented gifts to encourage forces on duty to rescue people and businesses that suffered great damage in floods...
It can be said that the timely intervention of socio-political organizations with their own abilities in the recent flood has greatly contributed to spreading the beautiful and humane image of the great national unity bloc. Sir, General Secretary To Lam, in his speech at the recent Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, proposed three consistent guiding viewpoints. Including the viewpoint: Shifting from a formal movement to practical results, based on data and figures; prioritizing models that can be replicated quickly, have reasonable costs, have a great impact on life, and bring practical benefits to people. Please tell us, how has the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City implemented this viewpoint?
- First of all, it must be affirmed that the issues pointed out by the General Secretary are both strategic leadership viewpoints and very specific instructions, close to the actual situation of the front work.
In recent times, the City Fatherland Front has made great efforts to gradually make activities more practical and specific, closely following the breath of life and development requirements of the locality. Activities to propagate and disseminate laws; supervise topics and social criticism; "people's forums"; direct dialogue conferences between heads of Party committees, authorities and people have been carried out with practical topics and topics, associated with local realities, contributing to promoting the people's mastery and demonstrating the collective intelligence of all classes, classes and components of society. Self-management models on security and order, environmental protection, cultural families, cultural families, cultural residential areas; encouraging education; eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; supporting loans to sustainably reduce poverty; helping the disadvantaged and disadvantaged... are implemented in a practical direction, specifically by subject and locality, focusing on quality, efficiency, and substance, with the final measure being the measurable contribution to the goal of building the great solidarity bloc and for the progress of the locality, expressed through the satisfaction of the people and the recognition of local Party committees and authorities.

In localities that have suffered heavy damage, the festival's activities will focus on community-based content such as visiting, encouraging, and helping affected households; supporting organizations and individuals in carrying out humanitarian and relief activities; coordinating with armed forces, unions and volunteers to clean up the environment, restore production; propagate natural disaster prevention and control, environmental protection, and climate change response.
The Standing Committee has also launched the Month of Action for the People in Disaster Areas, accordingly, it is recommended that member organizations in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system organize practical activities to help and share with people in disaster-affected areas, considering these as meaningful activities to celebrate the City Fatherland Front Congress and socio-political organizations scheduled for early December.
Not only the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city but also member socio-political organizations, including the City Labor Federation, are oriented to operate like this.Activities to care for union members and workers have also been and are being carried out in the spirit of limiting outstanding activities, focusing mainly on direct and substantial care for union members and workers.
From the perspective of the head of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, what message do you want to send to the Front cadres at all levels today?
- The Vietnam Fatherland Front has a role and position recognized by society. However, the results achieved in the past time are still limited and modest. Entering the new era, with a new organizational model and new task requirements, the team of cadres working on the frontline at all levels needs to determine new determinations and new efforts in a new spirit.
