The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has just issued Instruction No. 03/HD-MTTW-BТТ on organizing the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the provincial and commune levels for the 2025-2030 term.
According to the Instruction, regarding the personnel work of the Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the provincial level has the following components:
+ The head of the member organization (in some rare cases where the senior comrade cannot participate, a deputy can be arranged);
+ Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level (arrange the number of Committee members as Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of communes, wards and special zones not less than 50% of the number of communes, wards and special zones of provinces and cities).
+ Outstanding individuals in organizations, social classes, ethnic groups, religions, intellectuals, artists; scientists in various fields; businessmen, representatives of businesses in economic sectors suitable to the characteristics and situation of the locality; Vietnamese people residing abroad (if any).
+ Some cadres, civil servants, and public employees at specialized agencies at the same level.
Also according to the instructions, the number of Committee members: Maximum 120 people, for provinces and cities with 156 or more commune-level administrative units, it may increase by no more than 30%, in special cases, the number of Committee members must not exceed the number of existing commune-level administrative units of the locality, the specific number must be considered and decided by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee at the same level.
