On the evening of March 20, a high-level delegation of the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development led by Ms. Men Sam An - Vice President of the Cambodian People's Party, Chairwoman of the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development, President of the Cambodia - Vietnam Friendship Association arrived in Hanoi Capital, beginning a visit and working trip to Vietnam.
Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (UBTƯ MTTQ) welcomed the delegation at Noi Bai International Airport.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman Hoang Cong Thuy expressed his joy and excitement to welcome Ms. Men Sam An and the high-level delegation of the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development to visit and work in Vietnam.
Vice Chairman Hoang Cong Thuy affirmed that the visit of the high-level delegation of the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development to Vietnam this time is of great significance, is an opportunity for Cambodian people to prepare to celebrate the traditional Tet Chol Chnam Thmay, and is also an opportunity for Vietnam to successfully organize the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies at all levels, term 2026 – 2031.

Within the framework of the visit and working trip to Vietnam, the high-level delegation of the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development will hold talks with the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; attend the Signing Ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development; pay a courtesy visit to the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam.
Along with that, the high-level delegation of the National Council of the United Front for National Development of Cambodia will participate in activities such as courtesy visits to leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province; courtesy visits to leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province; visiting some landmarks in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh provinces.
