The working group was led by Mr. Le Tu Luc - Chairman of the Hanoi Red Cross Society. The program was attended by Ms. Nguyen Luong Hong - President of Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society; Mr. Le Van Luong - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Tuong Duong Commune People's Council and representatives of households receiving support.
At the program, 1,000 gifts including instant noodles, blankets, instant noodles... with a total value of more than 400 million VND were given directly to households in Tuong Duong commune affected by floods. The support source was contributed by the Red Cross family of Ms. Ngoc Mai and benefactors in Hanoi.
Mr. Le Van Luong - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Tuong Duong Commune spoke at the event: "On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Tuong Duong Commune, we sincerely thank the Hanoi Red Cross Society and philanthropists for promptly sharing and supporting people to overcome difficulties after floods. This is a very valuable source of encouragement, helping people stabilize their lives and gain more confidence in the period of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters".
The activity is part of the series of programs "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country", demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, contributing to helping people overcome the consequences of storms and floods and soon stabilize their lives.
