The Congress was attended by 107 delegates - excellent party members, typical of intelligence, courage, belief, solidarity, unity in will and action - representing 679 party members in the entire Party Committee. Delegates discussed and approved key goals, directions and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term, and contributed opinions to the documents of the Party Congresses at all levels.
With the motto "Solidarity - Innovation - Creativity - Efficiency - Development", the Congress is an important political event, demonstrating the determination of the Hanoi Party Committee in improving leadership capacity, promoting the core role in building the great national unity bloc, contributing to building a civilized, modern and sustainable capital.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee - emphasized that the Congress is an important political event, a big festival for all cadres and party members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee of Hanoi. The Congress took place in the atmosphere of solidarity and enthusiasm between the Party Committee, government and people of the Capital to strive to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; towards the 18th Congress of the City Party Committee and the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee of Hanoi for the 2025-2030 term took place in the context that the country and the capital are facing new development opportunities, while also facing many challenges. The Congress is held at a time when the Party, the State and the entire political system are synchronously implementing historic decisions, strategic breakthroughs to bring the country firmly into a new era - the era of strong and prosperous development. The highlight is the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus of the political system; implementing the model of two-level local government; reorganizing the organizational apparatus of the Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State; developing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; promoting international integration.
The contemporary requirements set for the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi to carry out new tasks, requiring high determination and great efforts to promote its position and role, gather the strength of the great national unity bloc, and build the capital and the country to develop in the new era, comrade Nguyen Lan Huong emphasized.
In addition, the Congress is responsible for contributing opinions to the Draft Political Report of the Party Executive Committee of Hanoi Party Agencies to the 1st Congress of Party Delegations of the City Party Agencies, term 2025 - 2030; and documents of the 13th Party Central Committee to the 14th National Congress of the Party.
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Innovation - Creativity - Efficiency - Development", the Congress Presidium hopes that the Congress delegates will promote the spirit of democracy, solidarity, consensus, focus on intelligence, contribute many enthusiastic opinions to evaluate, explain, discuss and decide on the direction of the coming term in the direction of looking ahead, thinking big, renewing themselves, striving to successfully achieve the goals set by the Congress.
