On July 29, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Cao Bang province held its 1st Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress was attended by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Agencies Vu Hong Quang and all Party members of the affiliated Party cells.
The Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Cao Bang province was established under Decision No. 66-QD/DU dated June 30, 2025, officially operating from July 1. Currently, the Party Committee has 165 Party members (of which 161 are official and 4 are reserve), with the female rate accounting for 69.5%.
In terms of professional qualifications, university accounts for the highest rate (72%), while in terms of political theory, 34% of party members have a bachelor's or master's degree.
With the motto "Solidarity - Innovation - Pioneering - Efficiency", the Congress identified the key task as "Improving the quality of Party cell activities in the period of 2025 - 2030"; the breakthrough content is "Effectively implementing digital transformation in the activities of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee". At the same time, promote the "Following the People's Education" movement at the grassroots level.
The Congress also set 10 targets, notably: striving for over 95% of Party members to complete their tasks well, 100% of Party cells to complete their tasks well, and the Party Committee to achieve the level of completing tasks well or better.
At the Congress, many opinions were presented, clarifying the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in supervising national target programs, humanitarian mobilization work, promoting the role of young party members associated with digital transformation... Contributing to adjusting and perfecting targets and directions close to reality.
In his speech, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Quang praised the efforts of the Provincial Fatherland Front Party Committee in the past time, and emphasized that in the coming term, it is necessary to focus on improving political and ideological work, innovating the content and methods of operation and promoting the leadership role of the Party Executive Committee.
The Congress announced the Decision to appoint the Party Executive Committee of the first term consisting of 15 comrades. The Standing Committee consists of 5 comrades.
Mr. Vu Dinh Quang - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; Mr. Vu Khac Quang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to hold the position of Deputy Secretary.
At the same time, the Decision to appoint the Party Committee Inspection Committee and the Delegation to attend the Party Congresses of the Provincial Party Agencies was announced.
The Congress voted to pass the Congress Resolution and ended in an atmosphere of solidarity, unity, and confidence in the new term with many expectations of innovation, efficiency, and success.
