In early October 2025, historic storm No. 11 ( Matmo) caused heavy damage in Bac Ninh province. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province promptly called for support for people affected by storm No. 11.
As of October 24, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province has received more than 48 billion VND in support and many necessities such as: Rice, instant noodles, drinking water, bread...; The Relief Mobilization Committee under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has supported affected localities with more than 71 billion VND and goods and necessities worth 2 billion VND, helping people overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives.
In difficult times of the locality, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ninh province has clearly demonstrated its role, gathering the people's intelligence and strength, mobilizing people to unite to overcome difficulties and challenges.
During the past term, the work of social security and caring for the poor and disadvantaged of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ninh province also left many impressions.
Bac Ninh is one of the leading provinces in the country in implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, specifically the whole province has newly built and repaired 5,636 houses, worth more than 195 billion VND for poor, near-poor households, disadvantaged households and policy families. Thereby, creating trust and motivation to help the poor and people in especially difficult circumstances stabilize their lives and escape poverty.
Responding to the movement "For the poor - No one is left behind", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province and its member organizations have actively mobilized agencies, organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists to participate in building the "For the poor" fund and social security program; every year, 100% of poor households are visited and given Tet gifts.
Campaigns and emulation movements are all implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province and mass organizations with focus and key points, strongly arousing the creative labor spirit of the people. The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" continues to play a core role, becoming a comprehensive, all-people campaign, gradually changing the face of urban and rural areas, improving the quality of people's lives.
With the motto "using the people's strength to care for the people", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province and its member organizations have effectively promoted the Digital Transformation Program in new rural construction. It is expected that by the end of 2025, the whole province will have 55/66 communes meeting new rural standards, 432 villages meeting model new rural standards; coordinate to mobilize people to donate more than 21,000 square meters of land, contribute nearly 40 billion VND and more than 33,000 working days to public welfare projects.
Up to now, 100% of villages and residential groups in the province have implemented c combinations and conventions, implemented new lifestyles in weddings, funerals, festivals, and built a safe, civilized and happy community.
The work of participating in Party building, government, supervision and social criticism has been enhanced, clearly demonstrating the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, association members and people. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of Bac Ninh province have chaired the organization of direct supervision of 769 contents, coordinated supervision of 912 contents; participated in giving comments on 537 draft laws, directives, and resolutions of the Central and the province; directly organized 14 social criticism sessions on the drafts: Political report submitted to the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, Rural waste collection project, comments, and social criticism on 104 projects using land...
Speaking to reporters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province assessed that in the context of the world and regional situation having many complicated fluctuations, the active participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province and mass organizations has truly become the " Atoms" of the great national unity bloc, creating a combined strength to complete and exceed many targets and tasks.
The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has strongly innovated the content and methods, diversified the forms of activities, associated with patriotic emulation movements, practical campaigns; focused on promoting the role of outstanding individuals, prestigious people, and religious dignitaries in propaganda and mobilization.
Thereby, the spirit of solidarity, community attachment, and self-reliance and self-reliance among the people are strongly aroused. People agree to implement the Party's guiding policies and the State's laws and policies, especially the province's policies and solutions on socio-economic development, contributing to changing the appearance of both rural and urban areas.
10 targets - 3 breakthroughs
To affirm its core political role and complete the above general goals, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee set out 10 specific targets for the 2025 - 2030 term, with 3 breakthroughs.
First, innovate leadership methods according to new models, new thinking, new working methods, new results. Strongly operate in the grassroots, residential areas, close to the people, proactively serving the people; promote the role of representing, protecting, gathering, and uniting all classes of people.
Second, promote digital transformation in the Front system; deploy the movement "digital elegy". Implementing data connection between the Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State with Party and government agencies to achieve efficiency. Develop a digital database to manage union members and association members, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels.
Third, improve the quality of the staff, especially the heads of agencies and units. Focus on training, fostering, evaluating, and arranging cadres to work effectively; pay attention to training cadres through practical activities, " saying goes hand in hand with doing". Build a team of Front cadres with a professional and modern working style; improve the quality of the Front Work Committee's activities in residential areas.
