On July 28, according to Lao Dong, the People's Committee of Lang Son province issued a Decision on assigning additional state budget expenditure estimates for 2025 to communes and wards to serve the organization of the Party Congress at the commune level for the 2025-2030 term. The total additional budget is up to 23.9 billion VND.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of this province decided to allocate funding sources from the province's regimes, policies, Projects, Programs and Plans according to Decision No. 1635/QD-UBND dated July 15, 2025.
This addition aims to ensure that the organization of the Commune-level Party Congresses takes place on schedule, with quality and efficiency, in accordance with the direction of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee in Plan No. 228-KH/TU dated April 28, 2025.
The specific list includes 60 communes and wards with allocated funding, with the highest being Khang Chien commune (791 million VND), followed by Doan Ket commune (764 million VND), Trang Dinh commune (690 million VND), Tam Thanh ward (666 million VND),... Meanwhile, some units have lower allocation levels such as Van Quan commune (22 million VND), Vu Lang commune (51 million VND), Chi Lang commune (52 million VND), Nhat Hoa commune (77 million VND).
The Department of Finance is fully responsible before the law and the Provincial People's Committee for the accuracy of the data and expenditure content. Communes and wards assigned to the budget are responsible for managing, using and settling the budget in accordance with current regulations.
At the same time, the Department of Finance and the State Treasury of Region VI will coordinate to inspect the management and control of payments to ensure transparency and efficiency in using the budget.
Timely allocation of additional funding to grassroots levels not only helps communes and wards be more proactive in preparing for congresses, but also contributes to the successful implementation of local political goals, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
