On July 17, the Central working delegation of the Vietnam Veterans Association (VPA) led by Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF), Chairman of the VPA Association - visited and worked with the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee.
The delegation was welcomed by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Quang and leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and departments, branches and sectors of the province.
At the meeting, leaders of Cao Bang province informed about the outstanding results in socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security in the first 6 months of the year.
In particular, the province has drastically implemented the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with the goal of more than 7,000 houses in 2025, and has now completed over 99% of the plan.
The two-level government apparatus operates stably, public administrative centers at the commune and ward levels operate effectively. The province is also actively preparing for the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong expressed his delight at the comprehensive development of the province, and at the same time believed that the Provincial Club will continue to promote its role in emulation movements, contributing to strengthening national defense and social security.
On the same day, the working group visited and presented 50 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to policy families and members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in difficult circumstances in Thuc Phan ward, demonstrating the gratitude and responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Association towards those who have contributed to the revolution.
