On February 9, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province organized the 3rd consultation conference, compiling a list of qualified candidates for the 16th National Assembly and the 20th Provincial People's Council delegates, term 2026 - 2031.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province reported on the results of taking opinions and confidences from voters at their place of residence for NA deputy candidates.
At the same time, informing about the results of taking voters' opinions on the workplace and residence for candidates of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, term XX, 2026-2031.
As a result, 14/14 candidates for National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term all achieved 100% confidence from voters at their place of residence. For delegates of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, 102/103 people consulted at their place of residence achieved a 100% confidence rate, and 1 person achieved 96.2%.
2/3 of self-nominated candidates do not have minutes of taking votes of confidence from voters at their workplaces as prescribed.
Based on democratic and objective discussions, the conference voted to approve the list of 14 people who meet the criteria for running for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and 101 people who meet the criteria for running for provincial People's Council deputies of the 20th term, term 2026 - 2031.
