According to the representative of Hanoi Urban Environment Company, right after the training session ended on many central streets, environmental workers deployed plans to increase hygiene throughout the area to contribute to ensuring a green, clean, beautiful and civilized environment for the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

In Ba Dinh ward, where many important activities take place and attract a large number of people and tourists to attend, the People's Committee of the ward has organized propaganda and spread the message "environmental hygiene is the responsibility of every citizen" to each residential group, residential area, and business household.
Ms. Tran Thi Hong Nhung (head of Environmental Group No. 2, Ba Dinh Branch) shared: My daily work is already hard, on major holidays, there are many tourists flocking to this area, and the work is even harder. Meanwhile, many people lack awareness and littered, so the cleaning workers have to collect a huge amount of garbage.
According to Ms. Nhung, before the event, we must prepare cleanly, during the process, and after the event is over, we must still ensure cleanliness so that everyone can welcome a clean environment. To complete the task, many workers have to work overtime, work overtime, sometimes at 4pm, or even after the training session, they have to work 24 hours.

Although environmental sanitation is heavy and hard work, sanitation workers are always proud to be served at major events in the country. Ms. Ninh Thi Loan (head of the garbage collection team in Hoan Kiem Lake area) said: "We have arranged time, family work and prepared health to always be ready to serve. When given the right to go, work continuously to make the Hoan Kiem Lake area the brightest - greenest - cleanest - most beautiful in the eyes of people and tourists".
Ms. Ngo Thanh Loan - Head of Communications Department, Hanoi Urban Environment Company, said that the unit has put into use 800 mobile trash bins along the parade routes, parades, central areas, and event locations. The company has replaced all open-air garbage collection vehicles with sealed container trucks, operating more than 30 two-wheeled electric vehicles for garbage collection. Arrange and mobilize 1,012 toilets, of which the city has installed and maintained 612 ones, the remaining about 400 are mobilized from agencies, schools, hospitals, and private houses for free use.

At the same time, Hanoi Urban Environment Company coordinated with Hanoi Youth Union to mobilize more than 6,000 young volunteers to work with Urenco to pick up trash and propagate to people not to litter along the parade and parade routes. In addition, the company's office block was also mobilized to the streets to participate in garbage collection during the grand ceremony.
Every citizen of the capital, as well as visitors, should join hands to preserve the environment, dump garbage in the right place, absolutely do not littered or move trash bins without permission, to jointly build the image of a civilized and modern capital, Ms. Loan emphasized.
