On November 23, Lam Dong provincial authorities issued a warning about the risk of landslides in Duong Moi village (D'ran commune) and supported the evacuation of households in the danger zone to safety.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Ha Bao Loc, Deputy Chief of Staff, Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, the authorities discovered that the entire land area in Duong Moi village was soaked with water, with a long crack on the ground with an opening of about 20cm.

The landslide risk area directly affected 6 households with 20 people. Currently, all households in the affected area have been evacuated to safety by local authorities, military and police forces.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported: D'ran commune is one of the localities that suffered heavy damage due to severe flooding.

Specifically, late in the 19th and early morning of November 20, Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Company released water to regulate water, causing the downstream areas on both sides of the Da Nhim River to be deeply flooded. Of which, D'ran commune recorded hundreds of houses of people being flooded and damaged; more than 300 hectares of vegetables were damaged.
