On November 1, Phu Xuan Commune Police (Dak Lak Province) said that in recent days, prolonged heavy rain has caused water levels in rivers and streams to rise, causing local flooding in many areas.
Some sections of roads and small bridges were flooded, flowing rapidly, and sliding, causing difficulties and potential safety risks for people, especially students.
In that situation, the Phu Xuan Commune Police force quickly deployed duty at key locations, diverted traffic and instructed people to move safely.

Lieutenant Colonel Chu Tien Thanh - Deputy Head of Phu Xuan Commune Police - said: "In complex weather conditions, we always arrange officers to be on duty in high-risk areas to promptly support and ensure the safety of people, especially students, to go to school".
Thanks to the proactiveness and high sense of responsibility of the authorities, people's travel in flooded areas is still guaranteed safety, without unfortunate incidents.
Not only in Phu Xuan commune, continuous heavy rain also caused many other areas in Dak Lak to be partially flooded, and some major roads to have landslides, posing a danger to road users.
The local police force has coordinated with local authorities to urgently overcome the situation, support people to move smoothly and proactively respond to flood developments.
