Warmth of human affection in times of trouble
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Loan (54 years old), residing in Rach Gia ward, An Giang province, is currently working as a night shift manager for a drinking place. With a salary of 5-6 million VND, Ms. Loan temporarily covers the day. Seeing her hugging the boxes of bread that helped her fellow countrymen, many people could not help but be moved.
She shared: I am also miserable, but seeing people out there suffer a hundred times more than me, the water splashed all over my house and I had to climb onto the roof of my house to be moved and feel countless types of love for my compatriots. As much as I can help, I also contribute some money to buy bread and milk to support. I hope our people will soon overcome the difficulties and stabilize their lives."
Ms. Nguyen Thi Manh (66 years old), also a part-time worker at a drinking place in Rach Gia ward, confided: "I am also old but work part-time to pick vegetables, wash dishes, help the restaurant... to make ends meet. Seeing the people of the provinces affected by floods and natural disasters, I felt so sorry for them and didn't know how to help. I also saved some money to buy bread and milk, and sent it to this gathering point to send to the people. Seeing that people are suffering and have nothing to express, I would like to express and share to help each other overcome this difficulty. I hope you receive the hearts of the people of Rach Gia".

Ms. Nguyen Thi Danh, who came to support the items, shared: "I am a freelancer, have known about the charity work of the 0 Dong Thien Tam Rice Khanh restaurant for a long time and often support. This time, together with friends and benefactors, we raised 51 million VND to buy bread, milk, cakes, and life jackets to send to the people, in addition to 24 boxes of porridge and 10 boxes of milk. I myself work hard and earn money, but thinking about the heavy damage to our people, everyone loves and wants to help each other in times of trouble".
Connecting hearts

It is expected to provide additional support to those in circumstances where relatives have lost 2 million VND to each household, said Ms. Hang.
Ms. Hang said: When I received the item, I was extremely moved, not only those with economic conditions but also those in difficulty were willing to share and contribute their efforts and money, that heart was extremely valuable. There are people who, whether selling lottery tickets or washing dishes at the restaurant, still come to send donations.
