With a concise storytelling style, meticulous and detailed drawings, along with her own style and aesthetic thinking, with the spirit of respecting cultural and historical materials, author - artist Lilywiu has brought readers a unique comic work that satisfies both content and form. In addition, with her love for ancient architecture and Vietnamese costumes, Lilywiu also breathes into "Fire Embers" a cultural breath imbued with Vietnamese national identity.
Sharing about volume 2, female author Lilywiu said that creating a series of imperfect characters to interact with jealousy, sadness, desire, love or empathy... was a challenge, but also a joy for her.
In the genre of psychological drama, self-development in all aspects is really essential, first for the author himself and second for the characters in the book to have more weight and humanity.
"Fire Embers" was originally a 40-page comic book project. However, thanks to the teacher's advice and interest in expanding the plot, author Lilywiu developed the story into a long-term series (expected to have 7 volumes) and received the reception of readers right from the first chapters when she started posting the story on her personal page.
