Working attitude is an important criterion when selecting officials

Leaders of Quang Tri and Quang Nam localities said that the working attitude at the present time is the criterion for selecting cadres and civil servants for the new apparatus.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hang - Director of the Center for Information Technology and Communications under the Department of Science and Technology (Department of Science and Technology) of Quang Tri province - the main character in the case of the leader of the Department of Science and Technology coming to present flowers on March 8, despite being informed in advance, only one female employee on duty at the unit - was proposed to be transferred to another position.

Specifically, the Department of Science and Technology has submitted a document to the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Home Affairs in response to the request to transfer Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hang to work at the Department of Science and Technology Office to appoint the Deputy Chief of the Department Office.

Previously, right after the flower donation on March 8 caused a stir in public opinion, Mr. Tran Ngoc Lan - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Tri wrote a document requesting the leaders of Quang Tri province to stop appointing Ms. Hang as Director of the Digital Transformation Center for violating regulations on office hours.

Thus, Mr. Tran Ngoc Lan, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Tri province, showed that he " say that he can do it" strictly without any threats.

Coincidentally, the transfer of Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hang took place in the context that the Acting Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province has just issued a document requesting civil servants to maintain discipline, administrative discipline and improve the effectiveness of performing public duties.

According to the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, in the past, before information about commune mergers, provincial mergers, and non-district-level organizations, some cadres, civil servants, and public employees had fluctuating psychology, affecting discipline, administrative discipline, and the effectiveness of public service.

Notably, the document of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province said: It is necessary to consider compliance with discipline, readiness to implement the policies of the Party and State as well as the sense of responsibility and fighting will of cadres and party members (especially the team of party members in leadership) in performing tasks at this difficult time as a very important criterion in selecting cadres and party members to join the new apparatus.

On March 13, at a meeting to evaluate the disbursement of public investment capital and national target programs, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, also issued a similar directive.

According to Mr. Triet, at present, the working attitude and sense of responsibility of cadres are uncertain, and it will be difficult for them to survive in the new apparatus in the future. And this is also the criterion for selecting the remaining cadres in the new apparatus.

Merging provinces and cities is a revolution to streamline the apparatus but also an opportunity to select suitable cadres.

The cadres who always have a day or an hour of work must work to the right place, to the right place, to do their best for the common good, for the people, for the enterprise... they deserve to be in the new apparatus.

And this criterion must be considered, in the same way as the Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Tri handled the case of violating administrative hours!
