The content of Ms. T's reflection is that on Saturday, July 5, 2025, T.K.L (born in 2021), studying at Gia Thuy Kindergarten, was beaten by teacher T.T.V (born in 1979). Ms. V also held the foot upside down and threw another child to bed.
The family discovered the incident because the night she took a bath, there were many bruises on her body. The family discussed with the school and requested to provide the camera. However, the Board of Directors only allowed the family to watch and not allow it to be filmed. The teacher shared that because the child did not sleep at noon, she fined the child a few times. The school hoped the family would ignore the incident, but the family did not agree.
After the incident, the family took the child to the National Children's Hospital for examination. Currently, the children have returned home, and are scared and do not want to go to school. The family hopes that hotline 111 will connect to protect the rights of children.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Hieu, Deputy Director in charge of the Center for Consulting and Communications Services, Department of Mothers and Children - Ministry of Health said: Immediately after receiving the information, the National Center for Children's Protection 111 connected with the Social Work Center and the Hanoi Children's Support Fund to request verification of the information and implementation of measures to ensure safety and support, interventions for children according to the provisions of Decree No. 56/2017/ND-CP dated May 9, 2017 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Children.
Initial verification results from the Social Work Center and the Hanoi Children's Support Fund said that the school had suspended teachers T.T.V and N.T.T.H to serve the investigation. Bo De Ward Police have received and coordinated with medical facilities to request an appraisal and verification of the incident.
The ward police also prepared a file to coordinate with PC 09 room of the People's Procuracy, Region 5. The child's body had bruises on the back, had been requested for examination and was waiting for the results. The psychology and health of young people are currently stable.
As reported by Lao Dong, Mr. T - the child's parent - shared that when the family took a bath for the child, they discovered a large bruise on his back, showing clear signs of damage. Immediately afterwards, the family immediately took the child to the National Children's Hospital for a general health check-up and report the incident to the school.
The family asked the school to re-view the classroom camera on the afternoon of July 8. Images taken from the camera show his daughter being dragged and beaten roughly by Ms. V, even thrown into a wall. Not stopping there, the teacher continued to drag the child out into the hallway and continued to assault him. Another girl lying next to her was also dragged back by teacher V's feet and thrown into the bed.
Notably, at the time of the incident, another teacher named H was present in the class, but there was no act of resistance.
The Department of Mothers and Children (castri round 111) has instructed local officials to coordinate with local authorities to continue monitoring and implementing support and intervention according to regulations for children affected by violence, immediately connect with Call center 111 if they encounter difficulties, problems or need support and advice.
