Kotrans Co., Ltd. fined nearly 148 million VND for violations in cosmetics business

The Drug Administration of Vietnam has just fined Kotrans Co., Ltd. 147.5 million VND for many violations in cosmetics business.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) has just issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Kotrans Co., Ltd. due to many violations in cosmetic business activities, with a total fine of 147.5 million VND.

According to the decision, Kotrans Co., Ltd. is headquartered at 21/10A Hau Giang, Ho Chi Minh City. Violations were discovered at Kotrans Co., Ltd. Branch in Hanoi and were recorded on May 20, 2026.

The enterprise has traded cosmetic products VT RETI-A REEDLE SHOT with labels that do not fully record the mandatory contents according to regulations. The value of goods sold to the market of this product is up to more than 96.5 million VND.

The company also trades in three cosmetic products including Torriden CELLMAZING Pore Perfecting Ampoule, VT CICA COLLAGEN MASK and UNOVE DEEP DAMAGE REPAIR SHAMPOO SWEET BREEZE with labels that are not true to the nature, not true to the goods. The total value of goods sold of this product group is more than 353 million VND.

Notably, functional agencies identified four cosmetic products including COSRX The Retinol 0. 5 Oil, SKINFOOD Yuja C Dark Spot Clear Cream, SKINFOOD Black Cherry Retinol 0. 1 Eye Cream and Paparecipe Collagen Peptide Serum with Product Information Forms (PIF) but not fully compliant with the provisions of law.

For the above violations, the Drug Administration of Vietnam has fined Kotrans Co., Ltd. a total of 147.5 million VND.

In addition to monetary fines, management agencies also apply many remedial measures. The company is forced to recall violating products to label them according to regulations before continuing to circulate on the market. At the same time, the enterprise must return the entire amount collected from the sale of violating products, including more than 96.5 million VND for VT RETI-A REEDLE SHOT products and more than 353 million VND for three products with false labels.

For four cosmetic products with incomplete product information dossiers, the Drug Administration of Vietnam requested the recall and destruction of all products according to regulations.

The sanctioning decision takes effect from the date of signing. Kotrans Co., Ltd. must comply with the payment of the fine within 10 days from the date of receiving the decision. In case of non-voluntary compliance, the enterprise will be subject to enforcement according to the provisions of law and must pay an additional late payment amount equivalent to 0.05% per day on the unpaid fine amount.
