On the morning of November 18, many customers coming to Mailisa beauty salon at 132 Nguyen Van Cu (Truong Vinh ward) reported that they could not use the service because the restaurant had temporarily stopped operating.
Mr. Tran Van Tien (residing in Truong Vinh ward) said that on the morning of November 18, he went to the Mailisa facility to provide skin care services but was refused. "I came to see the main door closed, and there were security guards in the basement. When asked to provide services, the security guard guided me to the first floor. There are still welcoming staff here and many people are working at the reception counter. However, when I asked about some skin care services, the receptionist said that the facility was temporarily suspending the service to serve the inspection of the authorities. They asked for a phone number and arranged to call back when they resumed operations, said Mr. Tien.
According to records, on the morning of November 18, some guests coming to Mailisa 132 Nguyen Van Cu had to leave after receiving a notice of temporary suspension of service.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, on November 13, Nghe An mobile police forces blocked off and searched for many hours at Mailisa beauty salon. The search took place simultaneously with inspection activities in Ho Chi Minh City and many other provinces and cities related to the Mailisa system. After the incident, public opinion questioned the management of the cosmetic sector in the area, especially illegal encroachment techniques, the use of human resources without practice certificates and untrue advertising activities.
According to Nghe An Department of Health, the whole province currently has only 7 cosmetic facilities licensed to perform professional techniques according to the approved list, including: Private cosmetic Surgery Clinic - Dr. Phan Sau, 148 Nguyen Van Cu; Thavi - Dr. Phan Ngoc Khoa Cosmetic Clinic, Vicenta building; Huong So - Dr. Le Tan Hung Cosmetic Clinic, Dai Loan Lenin; Dr. Le Tien - Dr. Trong Tien Cosmetic Clinic, Vinaconex 9; Oshun Cosmetic Surgery Clinic - Dr. Dau Huy Hoan; Mailisa 3 Cosmetic Creative Clinic - Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Xuyen, 5 floors - 1322 Nguyen Van Cam; Van Van Van - Dr. Tran Tran Tranh - Dr. Tran Tran Tranh.
17 dermatological clinics are licensed by the Department of Health to operate medical examination and treatment.
