The coaching staff of the Vietnamese pickleball team announced the official squad that will participate in the tournament in Da Nang city.
The registered list includes players Do Minh Quan, Ly Hoang Nam, Quang Duong, Phuc Huynh, Truong Vinh Hien, Trinh Linh Giang, Ken Tam, Sophia Huynh Tran, Trang Huynh and Si Boi Ngoc.
Currently, these are Vietnamese pickleball players with expertise and achievements that have been of interest to fans in recent years.
In addition, host Vietnam also registered the Vietnamese youth pickleball team to participate in the youth championship category in the tournament.
The list of participating players includes: Le Xuan Duc, Tong Nhat Minh, Pham Hoai Anh, Bao Duong, Khang Tran, Sophia Phuong Anh, Dan Linh Huong, Jolie Lam.
2026 World Pickleball Cup - Pickleball World Cup 2026 is held in Da Nang city from August 30 to September 6.
The organizers said that the entire tournament attracted 156 teams to register to participate in the events for the Open system (64 teams), Senior (40 teams), Master (20 teams), Junior (16 teams), Kids (16 teams).
With the Open system, 64 teams are drawn into 16 groups with 4 teams in each group. The Vietnamese pickleball team is in Group A with Colombia, Cayman Islands, Chile.
The reigning world champion, the US pickleball team, is in Group B with Samoa, Iran, Bolivia.
In addition, in the Junior system, 16 teams were drawn into 4 groups. The Vietnamese youth pickleball team is in Group A with Malaysia, Costa Rica, and South Korea.
In the Kids competition program (4 groups), the Vietnamese youth team is in Group A with Australia and Singapore.
