Nguyen Dac Tien is one of the pickleball players who receives great attention from fans. He used to be a fairly famous tennis player before switching to a new sport.
The new step was marked by his cooperation with Wika to develop the Next-X pickleball racket, a product built based on the characteristic playing style of the player born in 1999.
Starting as one of the outstanding tennis players in the North, Dac Tien has a good technical and physical foundation before switching to professional pickleball. He quickly made his mark with a DUPR singles/double index above 5.3, regularly participating in major domestic and international tournaments.
Dac Tien's playing style leans towards speed, mobility, field coverage and powerful forehand drives. This is also the basis for Wika to choose this shot as the main inspiration for Next-X.
Everything for me started from tennis, with basic foundations in technique, playing style and desire. Then after that, pickleball came like a new opportunity, for me to continue to burn myself out with sports. I myself also really want to be able to contribute to the overall development of the pickleball movement in Vietnam" - Dac Tien shared.
