The latest storm and low pressure forecast on July 28 from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that two new low pressure areas are expected to form after Co May and Krosa in the period from July 28 to August 10.
Philippine weather forecasters point out that during the week of July 28 to August 3, a new low pressure is forecast to form at the northern boundary of the Philippine Forecast Area (PAR) with little chance of strengthening into a storm.
Also during this period, two storms Co May (formerly Typhoon Emong in the Philippines) and Typhoon Krosa continue to operate. Of which, Typhoon Co May is expected to move towards eastern China. Meanwhile, Typhoon Krosa continues to strengthen and move south of Japan.

According to PAGASA's forecast, during the week of August 4 to 10, a new low pressure near the East Sea will form at the northeastern boundary of the PAR with little chance of strengthening into a storm. While the low pressure near the East Sea will form during the week of July 28 to August 3 with a smaller area of influence and closer to the Philippines, the low pressure formed from August 4 to August 10 will have a wider area of influence and further away from the Philippines.
Philippine weather forecasters said that PAGASA is currently only monitoring Typhoon Krosa and sees it 2,465km east of Northern Luzon.
PAGASA weather expert Robert Badrina shared: " Krosa will not directly affect the country. In fact, it could disappear in the next 48 hours."
From now until the end of July, PAGASA forecasts that the southwest monsoon will prevail, affecting most of the Philippines for many days.
The southwest monsoon is forecast to bring scattered rains to Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan and Occidental Mindoro.
Metro Manila, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley Calabarzon regions (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon), the remaining areas of Ilocos, the rest of Trung Luzon and the rest of Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan), similar weather system will lead to the sky, scattered and scattered rain and scatter Thunderstorms.
