The support is being deployed through the International Migration Organization (IOM) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the context of Vietnam being heavily affected by tropical depressions, strong storms and prolonged floods, causing great damage to people and property, especially in the South Central and Central Highlands regions.

The remaining 500,000 USD is deployed through UNICEF Vietnam, focusing on essential services such as clean water, personal hygiene and environmental sanitation, repairing sanitation works, improving lighting systems at schools and promoting safety for women and girls.
