US President Donald Trump had a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on March 19.

RT reported that President Trump said he had a "very good" phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart. According to Mr. Trump on the social networking platform Truth Social, the main content of the call revolved around a two-and-a-half-hour phone call between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 18.

Most of the discussions revolved around phone calls with President Putin to adjust the demands and demands of both Russia and Ukraine. We are on the right track, Trump wrote.

The US president said he would ask Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz to Provide an accurate description of the points discussed, and release a summary.

The previous phone call between Trump and Putin mainly revolved around the Ukraine crisis and solutions. Mr. Trump proposed the idea of Russia and Ukraine together temporarily suspending attacks on energy infrastructure for 30 days. Mr. Putin agreed with the idea and immediately ordered the army to stop such attacks, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

For his part, Mr Zelensky publicly supported the idea and clearly agreed in a phone call with Mr Trump, according to Bloomberg. However, earlier in the day, the Ukrainian leader expressed concern about how the ceasefire agreement was implemented.

If Russia stops attacking our targets, we will definitely stop attacking targets in Russia. But Mr. Putin's promise alone is not enough; there must be control. The main subject of this control must be the United States, Zelensky said at a joint press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
