Ngo Huu Vuong won the silver medal in shooting at the 19th ASIAD in Hangzhou (China).
However, the shooter only won an individual bronze medal in the men's 10m air rifle event at the 2025 National Shooting Championship on September 23.
On the day of competition, Ngo Huu Vuong (Hanoi) passed the qualifying round with 570 points, earning a place in the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, the shooter lost to Nguyen Tuan Anh (Army) so he had to compete for a bronze medal.
In the third-place shot, Ngo Huu Vuong beat Tran Hoang Vu with a score of 6-2, winning the bronze medal. At the end of the competition, shooter Tieu Hong Phong won the gold medal and Nguyen Tuan Anh won the silver medal.
Considering the results of their teammates, Ngo Huu Vuong and the Hanoi male shooters won the gold medal thanks to a result of 1688 points. Second place is for Hai Phong (1657 points) and third place is for the Army (1646 points).
At the 19th ASIAD, Ngo Huu Vuong lost to shooter Muhammad Sejahtera put putt (Indonesia), so he received a silver medal for the 10m air rifle with a men's individual mobile target.
