The official competition time for the 2026 World Beach Wrestling Championship is from May 9th to October 10th. 5. The competition events will take place on My Khe beach in Da Nang, Vietnam.
The World Wrestling Federation for the first time awarded Vietnam the right to host the 2026 World Beach Wrestling Championship. We are the host of the first leg of the tournament.
After that, the 2nd leg of the tournament is held in Croatia from June 30 to 31. The 3rd leg of the tournament takes place in Georgia from June 20 to 21, and the 4th leg in Azerbaijan from August 28 to 29. 8.
The final leg of the 2026 World Beach Billiards Championship is held in Greece on September 26th and 27th.
The professional department of the Vietnamese wrestling Federation and representatives of the World Wrestling Federation will inspect the facilities serving the tournament in Da Nang in early May.
The professional technical meeting of the tournament will be held on May 8 to determine the final registration list from the teams.
The World Wrestling Federation has set 8 standard events to be included in the 2026 World Beach Wrestling Championships, including 70kg, 80kg, 90kg, over 90kg for men and 50kg, 60kg, 70kg, over 70kg for women.
Vietnam is currently developing some weight classes for beach wrestling. Recently, the Vietnamese wrestling team was awarded 3 official slots for beach wrestling at the 2026 Youth Olympics, which will be held in Senegal in October.
