Vietnam will not participate in volleyball events at the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival (AYG 2025) in October.

Vietnam did not register to participate in volleyball at the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival taking place in Bahrain from October 22 to October 31.

According to the 2025 AYG regulations, athletes participating in the tournament are people of limited age from 14 to 17 years old (born from 2008 to 2011).

This year, Vietnamese volleyball will only participate in one youth tournament, the 2025 U21 World Championship in Indonesia. Volleyball was officially included in the competition program of the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival in Bahrain for the first time.

Last year, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation established 2 U20 men's and U20 women's teams to participate in the 2024 Asian Youth Championship, however, each team only focused on specific professional tasks.

Official competitions include: athletics, boxing, badminton, art horse racing, basketball, mountain bicycles, beach equipment, futsal, golf, kabaddi, triathlon, volleyball ( beach, indoor), taekwondo, throwing, jujitsu, MMA, electronic sports, judo, muay, swimming, table tennis, weightlifting, teqball and sports.

The Department of Physical Education and Sports is reviewing the force to register to participate in the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival from 9 to 12 official sports. Currently, the list of Vietnamese sports delegations participating in this arena has not been officially decided.
