National sports teams prepare for the 33rd SEA Games to ban camp from November 1

To ensure the best professional skills and training spirit, the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports has banned national team training from November 1.

The leaders of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports listened to the professional reports on the preparation for the 33rd SEA Games from the national sports teams.

In particular, the requirement emphasized by Director of the Vietnam Department of Physical Training and Sports Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet is that Training Centers must ensure the best facilities and professional preparation during the training process towards attending the 33rd SEA Games.

From November 1, national sports teams will ban camping at training locations.

Except for some teams with members participating in international training, many teams are practicing to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games at practice locations in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh.

The ban on training camp was introduced to help all Vietnamese coaches and athletes maintain discipline and the highest spirit for the 33rd SEA Games.

Currently, the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports is reviewing the final list of official members attending the 33rd SEA Games to report to the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the coming time.

It is expected that the Vietnamese Sports Delegation participating in the 33rd SEA Games will be established in early November.

The 33rd SEA Games will be held in Thailand from December 9 to December 20. The tournament will compete with 574 sets of medals from 50 official sports. Vietnam Sports aims to be in the top 3 countries leading in medal achievements.
