At the end of the competition, the Vietnamese women's 4x400m relay team finished first to win a gold medal with a time of 3 minutes 31 seconds 16.
In this event, the host team China won a silver medal with a time of 3 minutes 32 seconds 68, while the Kazakhstan team won a bronze medal with a result of 3 minutes 33 seconds 87.
Following this result, the 4x400m men's relay team including Ta Ngoc Tuong, Vu Ngoc Khanh, Tran Dinh Son and Le Ngoc Phuc focused on competing and finished first, winning a gold medal with a time of 3 minutes 02 seconds 60.
The achievement of the Vietnamese men's 4x400m relay team has been recognized as a new national record for the event.
In China this time, the silver medal was won by the host team with a time of 3 minutes 03 seconds 23 and the bronze medal was won by the Sri Lanka relay team (3 minutes 03 seconds 33).
Immediately after the tournament, the Vietnam Athletics Federation awarded a hot bonus of 50 million VND for each gold medal.
