Vietnamese swimming team expected to train in China towards ASIAD 20

According to the professional program, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese swimming team will send the most important athlete to China for training from July.

The training program in China to prepare for ASIAD 20 has been developed by the coaching staff of the Vietnamese swimming team.

It is expected that the training time for the key athletes group will take place from July 20 to September 14.

The Vietnamese swimming team is reviewing the last main force registered to participate in ASIAD 20. Among them, the leading athlete Nguyen Huy Hoang is definitely participating in ASIAD 20.

Therefore, Huy Hoang will be one of the factors of the Vietnamese swimming team expected to train in China from July.

Last year, during the preparation for SEA Games 33, the Vietnamese swimming team sent 15 important players to train in Nanning city (China). If nothing changes, the training location in Nanning (China) will continue to be a place for Vietnamese swimmers to practice expertise towards ASIAD 20.

The swimming event of ASIAD 20 will organize 20 events for men, 20 events for women and 1 mixed event (4x100m men's and women's mixed relay).

The Vietnamese swimming team will select athletes who are capable of competing for medals to send to ASIAD 20 in September.

At ASIAD 19 held in Hangzhou (China), swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang won 2 bronze medals (400m freestyle, 800m freestyle) to help the Vietnamese swimming team rank 7th overall in swimming.
