Late at night on July 21 local time, the 2026 Asian Age Group Swimming Championship officially closed.
At the end of this year's tournament, the Vietnamese swimming team won 14 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals.

On the last day of competition of the tournament, 2 players Tran Van Nguyen Quoc and Nguyen Kha Nhi were the ones who won more gold medals in their respective events.
Tran Van Nguyen Quoc finished first to win a gold medal in the men's 1,500m freestyle event (age group 17-18) with a time of 15 minutes 37 seconds 78.
Along with that, swimmer Nguyen Kha Nhi won a gold medal in the women's 1,500m freestyle (age group 17-18) with a result of 17 minutes 14 seconds 69.
The two championships contributed to the overall result for the Vietnamese swimming team to achieve the best result of 14 gold medals in the tournament. However, we ranked 4th overall.
In the overall rankings, the Chinese youth swimming team ranked first with a total of 35 gold medals, 25 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.
The Japanese team ranked second with 23 gold medals, 11 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.
Hong Kong (China) team has third place with a total of 14 gold medals, 13 silver medals, 20 bronze medals.
Members of the Vietnamese swimming team will return home on July 22. In this year's tournament, athlete Tran Van Nguyen Quoc was the face who achieved the best individual results for Vietnamese swimming.
