On July 18 in Bangkok (Thailand), Tran Van Nguyen Quoc and his teammates of the Vietnamese swimming team continued to compete in the 2026 Asian Age Group Championships.
The Vietnamese swimming team won 3 more gold medals on the competition day.
In the final night of the tournament, Tran Van Nguyen Quoc finished first in the men's 200m freestyle (age group 17-18) with a time of 1 minute 49 seconds 75.
The above statistics helped Nguyen Quoc defeat the runner-up right after him, Han Lee (China) with 1 minute 51 seconds 09 to secure the championship.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Thuy Hien and Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Tien are the next to win gold medals.
Thuy Hien finished first to win the women's 50m butterfly event (age group 17-18) with a result of 27 seconds 22.
Face Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Tien won the women's 100m backstroke (age group 17-18) with a time of 1 minute 03 seconds 84.
On the competition day, the Vietnamese swimming team won 2 more silver medals in the 4x100m mixed freestyle relay and 50m butterfly men's events.

The Vietnamese swimming relay team including Kha Nhi, Nguyen Quoc, Hoang Quy, Thuy Hien achieved a time of 3 minutes 36 seconds 25 to win second place.
The champion is Hong Kong (China) team when winning the result of 3 minutes 34 seconds 42.
The silver medal in the men's 50m butterfly (age group 13-14) belonged to athlete Ha Quoc Nguyen.
Temporarily after 2 days of competition, the Vietnamese swimming team has 6 championships in the participating events.
